Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of LeetCycle's website and application (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

LeetCycle provides tools to track coding practice problems, schedule reviews, and view related statistics. Features may change over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service with or without notice, subject to applicable law.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, sign out, revoke access with your OAuth provider if you can, and use any security options we provide in the Service when available.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in violation of law or third-party rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, data, or accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users (including excessive automated access)
• Use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or harmful content
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or others.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (such as problem titles, notes, and links). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and process your content solely to operate, improve, and provide the Service to you. You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this license.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content. We may remove content that violates these Terms or that we are required to remove by law.

6. Third-party services and links

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (including Google, GitHub, Supabase, and websites you choose to link such as problem banks). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or services. LeetCycle is not affiliated with LeetCode, HackerRank, or any other third-party problem platform unless we say so explicitly.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, branding, and underlying software (excluding your content), is owned by LeetCycle and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. THE SERVICE DOES NOT GUARANTEE INTERVIEW OR CAREER OUTCOMES.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL LEETCYCLE OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50), IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

10. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LeetCycle and its affiliates, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or for operational or legal reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that some jurisdictions give you mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived; those laws apply where required.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there, except where prohibited by your local law.

13. General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and LeetCycle regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on this subject. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale of assets.
